i need to know who makes a adaptor for my colorado..........anyone?
^^^^ WWW.LECARRA.COM ^^^^^ ----- THIS NEEDS TO BE A STICKY --- SINCE THIS SAME QUESTIONS IS ASKED OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN !!!!!
u may have to go with a flaming river or ididit column....or whoever made ur steering wheel
i've seen several colorado's with billet wheels on them with stock columns
i have'nt bought a steering wheel yet, need the adaptor first
I don't think you'll find an adapter for a Colorado, because manufacturers don't want to catch heat for selling a product that would intentionally defeat the airbag.
However, GM was kind enough to not change the spline pattern on its airbag-equipped vehicles from the older style, so any GM hub adapter should work for you.
I know plenty of people that have done this on their (show-only, never to be used on public roads, of course!) Silverados, and I'd imagine it should work for your Colorado, too.
Just shop for a 1994 and earlier GM hub adapter- we carry them, Billet Specialties has them, Jeg's and Summit carry them... you shouldn't have any troubles.
Good luck!

Good info wish I could find one for a 91 Mustang column. Most seem to stop at 89. Want to mount a Billet Specialties wheel.
Ford's a different story... every time I look one up it's a different part number from the last one! I don't know why they would change something as basic as the spline pattern on a steering shaft, but it doesn't surprise me-
Have you ever seen a Ford tech's toolbox? So many special tools!!
