8" notch??

i ordered an 8 inch notch to put on my truck a while back and i just now had it put on. i was told it was big enough 4 22's. after i had it put on it measured just a little over 7 1/2 inches. so is this still big enough for 22's or just 20's??? my truck is a 93 fullsize silverado just in case n e 1 needed 2 know. thanks

yes your fine, with a 265 35 22 it should put the top of the axle almost dead even witht the top of the frame , as long as the inside of your notch is above the top of the original frame you will be fine
