Alright i know if you want to bag a truck you are really sacrificing traction for off the line ( in my head atleastt ) but when it comes down to it is there a setup that will give you more traction then another or do you just need to pick goes fast or going low?

a properly setup 4 link will get good traction, regardless of spring. an air spring just is adjustble rate spring.

Call Steve at RCD Classics and tell him what you are trying to do. He will be able to help you with that more than anyone here.

Also look up anti-squat and how it effects your suspension, as well as how to build it into your suspension. There is a lot to explain, so its better to read up in a few different places. Chassis Engineering by Herb Adams has a good chapter on it. It talks about how drag cars use anti-squat to plant the tires on the ground more efficiently, and it also talks about being too greedy with anti-squat and the effects of that.
