hey im on another forum with ernie and he told me to ask u whats the best way to modify the steering to accomidate for the "Z" than is typicly done on these trucks?

and also im wanting to bodydrop it in the furure so what ever i do will it be able to be used to accomidate for the BD......i really dont want to cut the firewall if i can get away with it! thanks

The best way is to throw all of the stock steering shaft BS out and build new with Flaming River or other similar steering components. Trust me on this, you will fight the stock steering more than it is worth in the end. I can appreciate the cost factor, but sanity should play a big part too.

when u say all the steering are u saying the whole column or just the staft?

Just the shaft from the stock column to the box.

Basically, put some U-joints in the steering shaft.
