RCI cells are not that impressive. I've installed 3 so far, and none of them where even remotely square. And their mounting tabs are a joke. They need to be fully supported from the bottom with a large rubber strip, or the tabs will pull off. And its a GM style sending unit, so your fuel gauge will probably work backwards. I just hooked the one up in the 720, and its dead empty, and with the ignition on it goes past the full line on the gauge.

I wounder how expencive and time consuming that would be....I can't weld aluminum or stainless so that might not be the best idea,...

Having one made might not be as expensive as you think. I am working on a custom cell now that uses the stock sending unit and I only charged the guy $250 for it. Its all aluminum, bead rolled, stock sending unit and pump, holds app. 20 gallons, and filler neck. He would have spent close to that on one from Summit, after shipping, and its custom fit to his custom back half.
