Max I was checking out some build pics of another Dodge and stumbled across this. I'm not really understanding were it's going to so I was wondering if you could shed some little on it for me.....Thanks

It's the front suspension. Looks as if they are going to run a strait axle or something in the front. Just wondering your thoughts on it. I've never seen anything like that. Thanks man.

This is not posted to turn into a bash thread or anything. Just trying to get a little more information on what's going on.

by the look of it it looks like he is making some kind of jig to set up his suspension from

I know the guy was having problems clearing the fenders with the stock front suspension and the 26's. From his pics I don't think he cares much for camber, so maybe he is trying to clear the fenders with no camber. My question is....what about steering. Rack and pinions out the door unless it is mounted to the strait axle, then I guess you would have to run some sort of telescoping steering shaft. What about bag placement, it's gonna have to be a lever setup to clear the fender for turning. Wheel looks awful close to the frame for much turning radious. What would you use to hold the strait axle under the truck....just seems like alot of trouble without many advantages. Maybe someone who is familiar with a setup like this can chime in.

i think if all the bugs could be worked out it would be a kickass idea

how is a straight axle a kick ass idea? Seems pretty ghetto to me.
