why are york's the compressor of choice vs. say another brand of engine driven compressor?
I just called Oreilly's and used the 1968 Ford Galaxy. The guy told me $129.99 with a $10 core. If you can make the brackets and piece it together it's not that expensive at all. I bought mine at the junk yard for $10. The kits are what's expensive.
And it still makes me wonder why anyone would want a noisy ass electric comp when a belt driven is so cheap!
Yorks are the preferred compressors because of their air output, amp draw, and the fact they don't need to be oiled every few days.
