I personally love Parkers and Asco's. Parkers are awesome, not to mention they sound badass. And Ascos are some tough little muthafuckers. Most of the people i know have ascos and love them. So i would recommend either of the two.

i always used and loved parkers with no problems at all and sound like a seal barking but my friend talked me into pos gc's and i hated em. ima go with ascos next

I have run SMC, Asco, Blitz, and some other off name valves. SMC's are okay.
I personally like the Asco's the best, plus they have been in business since 1888. They were the first to release the solenoid valve in 1910. I trust that they know what they are doing by now. The 1/2" Asco's that i have in my S10 now have never given me problems.
They also make a really nice manifold setup that you can gang together in 2,4,6,and 8 stations. You only have to plumb one air source to it.
