B2000 brake booster

Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone out there has used a smaller dia brake booster on there 87 B2000? Any info would be great.

A geo metro booster is smaller but will require modification to fit it in the truck. Could you possibly move the stock booster over some to gain more clearance?
