EDC for 4.3 S-10

has anyone got a york compressor off a vehicle in a junk yard to build your own edc kit and what did it cost you for everything to make it work? im tryin to decide what to do one of my 450's shit out and i dunno if i wanna replace it or go engine drivin so help me out here
