Brake upgrades

Hello all, just picked up a 93 3500, in need of some love. I am working on the brakes first and I am looking for a good set of after market calipers and rotors. I would like something from SSBC, Bear, Wilwood, etc. I am looking for an up grade not just a show piece, so increased stopping power would be a plus, larger rotor would be fine as well. I have 17" Weld wheels so what ever I do it will need to fit that rim.

I talked with a guy from hawk breaks a few years ago he told me you'll have almost as good stopping with a good set of pads on the stock system as to upgrade for a lot less money

I will be posting more pics in a few days. She looks good from a far, but far from good.

Lots of work to do, breaks, steering box and joints, and seals in just about everything. She was used as a tow mule, by her fourth owner and not taken care of.

saving up now for a TCI trans, and a Edelbrock 555

Parts I am looking for on ebay and elsewhere;
a 95 dash complete all parts, sub dash, dash and dash cap, I don't need the electronics to work, they will be replaced with Auto Meter gauges, any color but the condition must be good. I will need the dash before I get the engine so I can work it over.
I also need an overhead piece from a 99-05 suburban again any color and the condition must be good.
I am taking my time on the dash and overhead, waiting for good parts. If anyone has some good items they want to part with please let me know.
