Its a 97 F150. Theres a big azz canister in side the pass. fender. What can I do with it? its in the way of me cutting out the fender.

I know a guy who threw his away. He says it takes him like 20 minutes to fill the tank now. His was mounted right above the tank though. What is it for any way? Sorry that maybe a stupid question.

I have no idea what its for, but I daily drive it so I want to make sure its reliable like it is now.

if you remove it, it will not pass emissions cuz it will throw a check engine light.

So then can it be cut down or use one off something else that is smaller?

charcoal canister is used to store gas fumes until it can purged back in the intake to be burned. do not trash it. you will not pass emissions with out it. find a place to relocate
