most of my fittings are compression.i think i'm going to go back to ptc.ptc fittings are pretty good you just have to make sure that the hose is cut straight and seated right.do not use fittings that are not dot approved dot.dot fitiings are made for road use and are held to a higher standard.you get what you pay for when it comes to fittings.

dragnranger, click my sig, we've got a whole new line of nickel plated fittings we are offering that are dot approved. we still offer the parker fittings on special order too! just look, that way u can get an idea of what ur lookin for.

where do you find these big rig shops. hell in my tiny town we have 3 truck stops and a truck repair shop... yet i dont think any sell fitting and stuff. If i were to look it up in the phone book. what would i look for?

i have heard horror stories about push fittings blowing apart under extreme texas summer heat. is this true?

i used ptcs on all my vehicles 7 + years in the 120 degree AZ heat, with no problems!!

is sd a good place to get them. i was at the local fasental store today and noticed they had these fittings. i think they were parkers. what do you guys think of those?
