I'm close to buying a 94 3500 crew cab project. I want to run 22 inch semi's and would prefer not to widen the rear fenders. I plan on bagging it. What would you guys suggest front and rear to get this done? Will i need modified A-Arms up front? Out back should I 4 link it? Can I narrow the stock dually rear end, and if so how much? Can i leave the frame rails alone and just 4 link it with a narrowed stock rear and fit 4 22's in the stock fenders? I'd love to see some pics of rear 4 link style setups. Thanks
There are many different options and configurations you can go with when putting air ride on your truck.
Up front you can install just the bags, you can do bags with control arms, or you can do bags with spindles. Minimal trimming and some parts moving is needed.
In the rear, you cannot narrow the rear without touching the inner frame rails on most of these trucks, however there are some exceptions but they are rare. The rear axle will need to be narrowed upwards of 5-9" total depending on the tire setup you are running. If you narrow the axle, then your room for the link setup will be gone and it will need to be on the inside of the frame rails and with this you get into clearance issues with the gas tanks.
There is a ton more options and setups you can go with. Every application is different. You can look on the site there should be a ton of pictures from various setups and systems.
Hope that helps answer some of your questions.
