Aright ppl, I have a community meeting I have to go to and I need to make a case. Around my house (my community) the conty wants to put up a total of 24 speed cushions and 4 speed humps.
Other than the obious (tear up my car/truck) I need reason why we should not.
The emergency vehicle reason is not a valid one since the cushions are designed to accomodate them.
Please help I would have to diver over 7 to 9 of these just to get to them main road.!!

They're not thaaat bad. That's the point of being on air anyways, so you can cruise 1.5" off the ground and still get over monster speed bumps

i wish they would put them up around my street everyone is always speeding and kids are always playing outside

The humps are silly, the ones we have around here the faster you go over them the smoother it is.

My co-worker proved that to me last month. But I would never treat my car like that.

just tell them you drive a lowered truck and if they put them in you'll be stuck in your neighborhood and cant get to work. so now you have to sue the city for disinfranchising you.lol no really just raise your truck and go over them.if any thing go over them low and drag a groove in them. then the city will be scratching their heads saying what hell did this to our beloved speed humps.

^^ I wonder if anyone has actually sue because of speed bumps/humps damaging their vehicles..?..?
