Starting With Non-Dually Questions

Can you take a 2wd Crew Cab long bed 2500 non dually and turn it into a regular dually using semi adapters, changing the rear end and bed? Would the front spindles and such be the same? Seems like this would be way cheaper in the long run.

The spindles will be the same. The rear will need spacers.

U can use the same bed, you just have to do some cutting and bolt on the dually fenders. When guys bag duallys on semi's they usually run 3/4 ton hubs to bring the wheels inward so they can tuck lug but then have to lengthen their control arms to push the wheel back out some. So if you run semis on a stock 3/4 t the wheels will be too sunk in. I beleive a 3/4 t rear may be narrower as well which would be to your advantage if running semi's. If running 16in. inners I believe you have to change your brakes too, not a problem if running 4 semi's out back.
