a C&C rear end comes stock on bread trucks, motorhomes etc. you might be able to find one at pull a parts if your lucky.

the C&C i have came out of a winnebago motorhome. its a 1 ton dually 14 bolt.

Also don't forget their main usage: chassis cab trucks. You probably already know this but it's dead easy to tell for sure if it's a C&C rear; the front wheels line up with between the rears, instead of the fronts being in line with the inner rear. Hope that makes sense. You probably already know this but just in case, figured I'd say it.

No matter what you're going to be moving spring perches (if you're still on springs) so I don't think it really matters which year model you get it from. As long as nobody says otherwise, I'd hunt GMT400 (88-98 bodystyle) trucks because you're more likely to find one, and it might have less miles on it.

Thanks fellas yea I know how to tell if it's one or not just, trying to see if, one is better or more, desirable than the other. My truck is already bagged it's getting bodydropped at Extensive now. And all the shops around here wants like a grand to narrow the rearend.

Yea cause the regular price of it is 200 there so I'll end up paying 100 bucks for it just have to take it out myself.

I'm running an '85 model C&C and the spring perches/shock mounts lined up perect on my '86. Just had to run a different yoke on it, narrower brake lines and cut the stock tubs.

Thanks wide load I thought everything would line up if it was off the same style truck and not off a bread truck or anything like that.

No problem '83 crew. I see you are from houston too, I got my c&c from one of the many salvage yards on spencer.

i used a SRW rear end out of 98 model on my truck and it worked out good...but im running 6 semis instead of 4 and steel inners and since mine is bagged/bodied i didnt have to worry about spring perches...here a few pics so you can see how that rear end works with semi wheels on a box
