I had a hard time getting use to the foot pedals, I learned using a finger control. I liked it becuase when you are in an wierd position you are not tring use the pedal like a thigh master

i can use the pedal while laying on my back, im awesome! but ive started using scratch start when welding on a frame so i dont have to drag a whole bunch of shit everywhere.... plus ive gotten so used to scratch start from welding pipe and other things hangin 20 ft in the air...

Nice, I went for a job interview today and nailed the mig part, then he put me on the tig machine and I had the tungsten all dorked up within 2 minutes lol its like my hand was having a seizure the whole time. Definatly takes a while to get used to Good luck with yours!
