beside the fact that I don't like slam bags, the re8 are a bit small in my oppinion. We use the firestone pn. 26c in the front of the Cads. They are tough to fit in, but have a stock feeling ride. Ask Ernie how he likes the way his Cads ride.
Again, there are plenty of people out there that love the way their car rides with slam bags, but I just try to get as close to the original spring rate as possible.
On the '63 Imp, if the springs are mounted directly on top of the axle, use the sleeve parts. Otherwise the double convoluted parts work best when installed on the bar.
