Compressor out in the rain

I am about to start driving the s10 as a daily and I am concerned about the compressor mounted in the bed being exposed to the rain. I dont have a bed cover yet and dont want to ruin the compressor.

Anybody have there compressor in a daily exposed to rain? Will it ruin it?

Any suggestions to protect it?

i had my dual 480's and both of my az's in the bed with no cover drove it everyday rails alot and i had no probs at all just put some electrical grease stuff on the wire ends but i had no prob and i did it for a year and a half no probs at all

I have to check on the model but I know its a Viair.

ive seen them oxidize real bad....thats the only real issue ive seen though

the 2 i have look like hell but work fine. were in the bed out in the rain for about 2 years 450s

ya you should be fine man. really they are worse off under the bedin my own personal opinion when its rainy outside

make a small cover for them. might help isolate the noise and protect them from anything in the bed too.
