Is there a simple way to turn these off or is it really involved?
(Have not had truck but a couple of months)

I thought maybe that was the case, maybe I can Google the fuse number?
Thanks

Or just check the sticker on the inside of your fuse cover, it's #15. Remember the rows are numbered with the # above the fuse, easy to forget when you can't see the first row's numbers without kneeling down.

On mine, if I just pulled the fuse, it also caused the headlights not to function correctly, as I remember I lost one side of lo or hi beams. It has been many years since I messed with it so I can't remember for sure.

Why would you wanna disable the DRLs?

Mainly at Cruise-In's where I want all the lights lit up but the Headlights.

What year is the truck?
Some trucks that have the dome light override button below the headlight switch, you can push the button 3 times and it will cut the DRL off.

just hit the ebrake a click or two and they should go out. Or put a switch on the ebrake wire to bypass it and send it to ground as I remember will shut them off too.
