I'm about to have my s10 sold and i think i'm gonna hold off on a new truck for now and use that money towards the belair. ITs a 61 and i'm wanting to lay rocker on 22's. Just wondering if anyone has done one of these and have any tips. i'm gonna rebuild the whole frame, so i was thinking of using a c10 front clip since theres way more aftermarket parts, like arms and spindles, and wanted some input on this

well another reason i was thinking of using a c10 clip is my dads buddy is saling an old c30 dirt cheap with a running 454 and turbo400 tranny so it would bolt right up to it then
i used a s10 front clip on my 62 wagon. i cut the whole floor out and built a new structure once the car was layed out. you would have to channel the floor 1 inch to 1 1/2 to lay the rocker.

thanks for the heads up
We used a 72 monte carlo clip on our 59 el camino. its been z'd 2 inches and it worked out killer not to mention It has the car bolt pattern, disc brakes, and power steering set up. it worked out killer on the ole "X" frame
laying out one takes some good time but it is well worth it. i should have never got rid of my wagon. would have layed 22's on the rocker at 50 inches tall.
