CUSTOM AIR TANK?????

I SAW A FORUM ON HERE TODAY WITH CUSTOM TANKS. THE LOOKED LIKE 4" OR 5" DOM TUBING WITH THE ENDS CAPPED AND W/BUNGS.I WOULDN'T MIND GETTING SOMETHING LIKE THAT MADE. ANYBODY BUILD AND/OR HAS BUILT THESE?

id imagine any old fab shop would make you some up. talk to Cris (bdroppeddak), he works at a fab shop thatll damn near make you anything.

I built my own tanks.. I used 1/4 wall ASME tubing in 9 " diameter, and then had 3/4 plate end caps machined with a lip to slide inside of the tube, and had 2 3/4 ports tapped into each end of them.

What about exhaust?

i said the same thing when i was looking at that frame....

What about exaust ?? Well a few options . Down the driveline tunnel since i have to rework the trans mount anyway, between the rockers and the frame, or straight out the fenders behind the front wheel since it will never be smogged with a 351 in it. Anymore ?s feel free to ask and sorry for stealing the thread.

I'm gonna def work something up, but i like the round tubing. Thanks for the inputs.
