Ok so I ordered some HID's and LED bulbs like a year ago and well I went to install it all and have 2 issues, I have a 92 chevy Dually.

Problem 1:
So I plugged in HID harness to headlight harness and then the other end into the ballast, then I plugged ballast and bulb together and I started the truck and turned on the light switch and nothing, neither side would work, I plugged in a regular bulb and it works... I am guessing truck since neither side would work so has anyone ever have this problem or have any ideas???

Problem 2:
With the LED's installed I have the fast flash like I have a bulb out. I know I have to change the relay so where is the flasher relay and where do I get one that will make them flash normal with LED's, and if you have a part number that would be great too!!!

u will need the resistor kit to stop the fast flashing the

LED bulbs may cause some vehicles to indicate a bulb is burnt out (because of their low power consumption). Some cars indicate this by turning on a bad bulb indicator. This can be remedied with load resistors wired across the LED bulbs to simulate a filament bulb load.

umm website just shows running boards.... I am aware of the fact that the led's low draw causes this issue, what I am looking for is where the flasher relay is so I can replace it for a LED flasher relay, I dont want to put resistors at all 4 corners when I can just replace 1 flasher relay.... But thank you for the suggestion.

The cheap HID kits are bad about having the ballast or igniters bad right out of the box. We have had several kits in here that haven't worked.

Try reversing the polarity of the wires from your truck to your ballast. (Turn the plug over) I had to do this in my truck.

Yeah, In my Chrysler I had to use a capacitor to help regulate the voltage. Among the kits i have purchased I have found this to be inconsistent. Out of the three kits on my Chrysler only my low beams needed them. Even though the ballast looks the same something seems to be different in the internals.

I was talking to my friend about this who sells them, he claims his ballasts are digital unlike the one I had to install the capacitor on. He said my other ones are analog... I called BS, but I really dont know.

Has anyone seen or purchased the ebay ones with the barrel shaped ballast? I got a set for my dually, and they seem to work pretty good, they fire 98% of the time. The only problem I have had was they are not waterproof and I dont have any inner fenders. The company was cool about replacing the ballast for me since it died, but I dont think they would do it again. Another thing I liked about the company that sold them, they were based out of California, so the shipping was pretty quick as well as the return.

This is how to do the capacitor trick.

Note, the arrows on the capacitor point to the ballast.
