READ THIS BULLSHIT!!!!TRUE STORY 1/3/2008

THIS IS A TRUE STORY!!!HAPPENED TO ME TODAY AROUND 3 PM!!!

People please open your eyes while out driving. If you see a truck on the side of the road with the blinkers flashing then move over. Don't run into the back of the damn truck!!!

I went outside today to talk to a public utility worker to ask him about my water bill. He went to show me how it all works. So while we were leaning on the side of his bed of the truck some asshole ran into the truck. His arm was reaching into the bed to show me something about the meters when it happened...... the tailgate hit him in his arm shattering the bone right in front of me. His truck then rolled across 5 lanes of road running up into the neighbors yard across the street finally coming to rest on a street sign. And guess what the driver had to say when getting out of his SUV............Why are you parked in the middle of the road? The nerve of some people. Now let me remind you people who don't know where I live......The speed limit is only 35 miles per hour. The drivers head had a big split in it from the windshield. Was he speeding? Probably!!! And obviously not paying attention either.

This just goes to show you that you could DIE at any moment. What if we had been standing at the tailgate? The guy could have killed both of us!!!

SO PLEASE PAY ATTENTION ON THE ROADS!!!!

I took a "driver improvement class" recently (thanks to VA DMV points system!) and they were talking about paying attention to things on the side of the road. They said #1 cause of roadside accidents is people thinking that cars parked on the SIDE of the road are in a lane of moving traffic. Hazards on or not!

That sucks, we just recently had some dumb chick hit two surveyors as they were unloading from their truck. She was supposedly doing 100+.

sorry to hear about this. my brother drives trucks and he tells me horror stories all the time about stupid-ass's like that.i watch traffic closely and believe me, i've seen some shit down here in redneck s. ga.

Glade to hear that everyone is still alive. I work for the Ky dept. of transpertaion, and We have to deal with this shit every day. There has been countless time I have had to jump in the ditch because someone was not paying attention while driving. Eveybody keep your heads up and your eyes on the road, and maybe nobody will get Killed.
