Right, you will run less pressure to get the same amount of lift with a cantilever, that is the problem, or at least part of it. But getting more lift from less pressure, you will have a softer suspension, if all else remains the same.

thanks guys, arron, max great info guys, helped alot. max i got to say the work on the taco in the past mini truckin was nice. that is about what i am wanting to a t. oh and not to sound like a smartass or anything, i know your just trying to help, but with what you said about tires and braking and all that i had already planned on it. when i was in to imports i was always a firm beliver in not just fixing up one part of a car. i already have the braking system planned out with 14" rotors and 4 piston calibers up front and 12" in the rear with 2 pistons there. the wheels are one of the lighter billets i can find and tires are not heavy either. i just didn't write that earlier. thanks for all the help guys.

You don't sound like a smartass at all. Just one thing though, you said lightweight billets, Just keep in mind that billets have the nasty tendency of bending, especially if you haoen to do any sort of OFF ROAD EXCURSIONS. By that I don't mean wheelin the truck ,but more of a oops missed the corner and ended up in the grass type of thing. Hopefully you were thinking of forged wheels, or at least a reasonably priced billet in case that happens.
