The Story So Far...baggin' an 87

More awesomeness. I was on my way home from the gym with my wife a mile in front of me in my super duty and my truck just died. I coasted to the side of the road and tried turning it over....nothing. I sat there and thought that my wife was a mile or two behind me and she would see me and stop....no luck. I sat there for about 20 minutes waiting (because I was dreading the walk) It was 28 degrees and drizzling and i was in shorts, vans and no socks. My awesome battery on my iPhone was dead so i started walking. I walked about 2 miles before someone stopped and let me use thier phone. Got it towed up to the shop last night and pulled it down this morning.

The bolts fell out of the damn cam gear. Just fell the fuck out. Tore up both gears, the cover and some of the chain.

Just to give you an idea how cold it was...

She was probably mad at you for driving her with no hood on in the cold.  Or the bolts got cold and wanted to go south for the winter.  I'm sorry to hear about your bad luck.  Sweet truck though.

man I love working on my engine! I am putting a aluminum serpentine from a camero on cause the steel one I have is cracking and tweaking.

love this truck! can't wait to get mine on the ground.
