Just picked up something new to play with. Where is the best place to pick up parts for the C30's or 85 chevy crew cab dually, and is there anyone that would recommend someone on here that would do a good job on stretching the fenders I am not a fiberglass kind of person. This will be a new learning curve I am sure, but fun I have always loved these trucks.
just get a C&C rear end and you wont have to widen the fenders
you just plan on baggin it or also bodydroping it????? i have a great place here in houston locally but where you are not sure..... you can aways use LMCtrucks.com they have everything you could EVER need for your project.
it is stockfloored, and i looked on lmc but the dont anything for the c30 like dually fenders and stuff such as that, I am in alabama, what are you calling a C&C rear end. I picked it up from bdydrppup on here.
a C&C rear end is a rear from a cab and chassis truck..they are shorter than a stock dually rear end so you dont have to widen the fenders...
so from the factory it had no bed or flat bed or what do i look for to find one to actually know I have the right type of rear end?
yeah its a truck that come with no bed and is usually equipped with a flatbed or something along those lines...im using a single rear wheel rearend out of a 95 model 3/4 ton on my truck but im running 22s so my wheels clear the brakes but a regular 16 inch dually inner will not clear the brake drums on a SRW rear end
were the C&C rear ends dual or single axles
dual...there just shorter
ok thanks for info now back to the fenders can anyone help with that what engine would people recommend, 350 vs. 454 for towing and fuel mileage
