1999 escalade marker lights

how do you take out the orange side lights from 1999 escalade marker lights i see them clear in pics i call places only find smoked so they take them out ?

I haven't heard of anybody taking OEM ones apart to clear them like they do on the newer truck lenses. Not saying it can't be done, just never heard of it on the older Escalade lenses.

I bought OEM-type clears for my setup many years ago...off eBay. Probably still find them if you hunt enough. This is my old '92:

Yeah, I looked for some a couple days ago when pricing everything to swap my truck to that front end and could not find them either. Only found smoked or stock corner lights.

They're probably alot like the OEM style clear taillights I like to run. They're "old" so they're probably not in production anymore, but if you hunt long enough you'll find some.

Those corners are the older style clears for that front end. A company named InPro Car wear are the people that made them. I have a set lying here in the shop somewhere.

i made my own backk in 00 when the frontend first came out


i just cut the back side with a die grinder right where the lens and housing go together and "plasatic welded" them back together


snapon has a plastic welder thats basically a overgrown solding iron you can put a flat tip on to heat the plastic back up and melt it togther.





and heres strippers on the hood jusst cause pics with strippers are always more fun

didnt this truck get stolen....seems like i remember it from fullsizechevy or GMFS
