What have people done to modify there steering when laying frame? In my dakota the frame will have to have a notch to clear the arm of the rack and pinion, but what else has to be done as I will mostly be driving with it aired up to clear the wheels and will have about 9" of travel. Any pics would be great! I am thinking some kind of linkage has to be made up where it will connect to spindle, but what kind or what other options are there? Thanks!

just notch the frame, dont overcomplicate it!

Yes the frame will be notched thats not the hard part, I just do not have enough travel on the rack.
