Sell whole or part out?
Okay say I were to sell my frame, would anyone actually buy it? I saw the thread about Taylors one off frame, and for a cheap price it seems like he can't sell it at all. I am wondering if anyone would even buy a stock bagged frame. Basically everything but an engine. Air ride and all, bags valves tanks compressor. Or would I be better off re-using my air ride and just scrapping the frame all together?
I tried to sell my 97 frame for a long time,it had dream beams, cross members, 4-link, axle all the front suspension and brakes, but nobody wanted it, so I took the plasma cutter to it.I did keep all the air ride stuff and beams, but there just sitting by my garage rusting.
Thats what I'm worried about. I don't want my frame to just sit there for months while I hopelessly try to sell it. But at the same time I don't want to cut it into little piece since its all powdercoated and nice.
u buildin a frame for your truck seth or partin out the whole truck?
I've been gathering parts over the last couple months to do a whole frame. I want a narrower front suspension so I can actually tun this thing without having it 10 inches in the air. So I figure I might as well. I wanted to in the first place, but didn't intend to go as far as I did.
ill just say,i was happy with my taco when i got it drivable the first time and truly regret taking it apart again only to never get put back together again.
Thats why I plan on building it before pulling the truck apart. That way the down time is much smaller.
how much do you want for it?
I'm trying to gauge whats fair for it. I'd take offers, but I'm not ready to sell it at this point. At this point I could let someone drive the truck or in it to see how nicely it rides and works as a whole.
I just pulled the cab and bed off of my toy to build a frame for it. and im setting my 4runner body on the old truck frame. it works out because its already stock floored.
