FYI: I dont think MIC ever actually made a 1/2" manual valve. I know they advertised 1/4", 3/8", and 1/2" but the "Mass Flow" 1/2" valves were the same as the 3/8" just with 1/2" tube fittings.
why do some people want manuel valves anyway ? if you're going to bag a truck or car, spend the extra money and do it right, get electric solenoids, an air tank, a compressor, and the airline and switches. I guess you're bagging a hot rod and must be 80 years old

actually manual valves are very dependable...i wouldnt knock them at all, not completely sure if i wanna get rid of mine! you wouldnt be talkin when your electric valves freeze up in the cold, and my manual are workin fine 8)
I remember running ball valves on my old truck, they never leaked. If you want some quick electric valves, hit up the parker store or some industrial, manufacturing equipment supply place. I got a set of 1/2" MAC valves for a lot less than a custom shop sells for. solenoids are very reliable, just make sure to use air line antifreeze (available at most truck stops) in the winter, and a good oiler/filter and lots of check valves.
i love my manual valves ive had one set since i was 16 rebuilt them once and never had a problem and where i live the electrics like to freeze on ya. ive still got one set on my cadillac and they work like brand new! they do make a 1/2 inch or did i had them on an astro van a while back they are stupid fast drop for a manual valve but not much for getin back up

I live in the south, aint gotta worry about em freezing lol. I do have some ball valves on my truck, like right after my 5 gallon tank for saftey purposes, if my check valve were to malfunction
im not talkin bout the big lever ball valves though...mine are MIC billet valves
Im gonna upgrade out of manual valves soon, but i have other stuff to finish first. I got the truck with the manual valve setup
