My adapters don't sit completely flush on my hubs. I believe they came from Travis Burke. I measured my other adapters and they're like 1/16th in smaller. Are some of these adapters designed to be used with the factory spacer plate? The part that seems to be the problem is where the base of the hub has a small radius into the face of the rotor and it's not allowing the adapter to sit flush against the face. It's probably like an 1/8" away. Anybody have any suggestions?
Thanks,
David
Were they ordered specifically for your truck or did you buy them off another vehicle?
It sounds as if you have gotten a set for the OBS (1977-2000) Chevy trucks and are trying to put them on a NBS truck (2001-current).
Mine is a 1999 obs, sorry forgot to put that. It's off so little that it's almost like they didn't machine them out enough. They fit all the way over it except for the very last bit.
Thanks,
David
Sounds like they were not made with the correct hub bore.
Seeing your other post also brings up the point, that some of the SRW 1ton and 3/4ton suspension has a different hub bore from the DRW suspension.
Believe it or not the rears fit fine except for the fact that the studs aren't long enough. After I get the rest of my suspension figured out I've got to pull them back off and see what needs to be done.
