i have an 06 chevy colorado. for those of you who dont know colorados have the fullsize 6 lug pattern. there are no 22x8.5s with the 6 lug pattern other than billet wheels. there are millions of chrome 22x8.5s with the s-10 bolt pattern. question is... can i swap out the rearend with an s-10 rear, and convert the front by redrilling the hubs to the s10 pattern? any help appreciated?

Sorry, I can't help you. Have you joined Coloradofans.com ? You will find alot of useful info on that website.

the majority of that website is useless and only a handful of the trucks actuall have anything done to em.

you could try s10-forum and see what they say about it since your trying to do the s10 swap on it

What's the width of the S-10 axle? The only problem I see with redrilling the hubs is if the existing holes are going to be in the way of the new bolt pattern or not. as well as the diamter of the rotor being the same.

Also remember that the colorado has a 100mm hub which is alot bigger than most. Will your S-10 bolt pattern/wheels fit around the hub?

oh, and be careful when you pull off the hub. You're probably going to damage the abs sensor and you'll need to buy a new set.

as far as the width of the rearend im unsure but for the hubs, dont they fill in the old holes with metal and then redrill? as far as the 100mm hub, ill have them custom drilled like i had the 22s that are on my truck right now. it only cost me like 75 bucks.
