dude, y dont u just put the cavy intake on. i got one for 100 bucks and i took an hour to put on.

i think its only for a 2.2 motor, ive seen a intake for the older 4 cylnder where the front corner is cut down and re welded so it will fit under stock hood.

yeah mine is a 97 hombre. was that body drop traditional? and did you mess with the motor mounts at all?

If it is a 97 you can't use the cavalier intake, but you can just section the front corner of the intake manifold so it ends up at an angle.
That is all you need to keep a stock hood if you don't go past rocker.

and doing the clutch master cylinder resevoir will be a pain because Id have to remake the pedel from what im hearing...

yea it was a trad.the clutch pedal is not hard.Go to s10fourm they got a thred on how to n it helped me a TON with good pics n things you will need to know so maybe you want to look into it more before you go cuting your ride up.see here n NY we got all winter to put r shit back togeather lol
