Would running my frame under my axle be good idea.. whats your opinion on this setup. would it suck or would it be like a over with a c notch???
theres been a bit of discussion on this and really the only thing people can find against it (when done nicely) is that wheel size limits your rear lift.
then again.....who lifts the rear a lot in the first place...
Could be bad changing a tire unless you have a tilt bed...
Other than that it seems like a good way to go.
this is the under the axle frame we built

It's going to be shitty changing a flat reguardless, layed out on the ground. You could always build in a jack point thats accessible when aired up a little.

....or you could build or incorporate an air cylinder into the frame for use as an air jack like they do indy cars and touring cup cars...would be neat i think...the wheel size shouldn't be that big a deal in the scheme of things since the rear really only needs to come up far enough to clear the ground...you don't turn the rears, so why do you need a huge amount of lift right?!
i like my under axle set up it works well the larger the wheels the more lift
I just meant as far as getting enough droop travel to get the wheel out past the fenderwell. My Comet required me to unbolt the bag so the axle could travel down enough to get the wheel off, but with this setup you'd hit frame...
