narrowed my 3/4 ton rear end!!!!

has anyone had a problem narrowing there rear end with having the axles cut down and resplined?i talked to a guy a mosher engeneering and he told me it was no problem.well i cut my tubes down and now gonna send the axles out and i talked to another guy today and he told me that they can be done and i have to have new ones made?WAT THE HELL!!!he said they cant be done is cuz the axle after the spline tappers down smaller and its to small to respline and wont work when put back in.anyone that can help me out with anything or let me know something would be great. thanks alot

You need to have new axles made. They can't respline them due to the taper after the splines.

Should be around $340.00 for axles with shipping from moser.
