I bet if you took it to a machine shop, along with a piece of rod they could tap each piece to thread together higher up into it than just an inch or so.

mine, using a chopper grip, like a 6" x1" chrome spike. nice and low, quik throw shifts and yeah, ITS SHARP!! used like 3 years now, beat up but still cool

The only bad thing with the beer taps are if u don't shift holding the bottom of the tap they usually break. Ive seen a few due this.

ya i got the same size as that but its a bud light one, the bad thing is in the summer it get hot and bends out of shape
