wondering if any body had used type L cooper line before and how well it held up. I was told that if you tried to make bends in it would crack

amen brother... always used copper airline since clyde from silverstar told me about it 5 or 6 years ago. never had a single prob. no cracks (actually never even heard of this) no leaks when run into the fitting straight, never had a blown line, you can run it right next to the exhuast no prob. and you can even make cool designs with it. lol

type l copper here for about 3 years and no problems. get a good quality bender and you have no issues bending it. heres what my bender looks like

From what I've heard and can visualize, i would assume it cracks on truck with lots of frame twist, c10, older F150, etc. More rigid frames should be fine (in theory).

My question is what fittings do people use? I've tried it with a few PTC and have yet to get it to be air tight..

If you buy it in a roll it will bend, if it comes straight it will crack when you try to bend it.

used the fittings ekmw sells. used the copper that was in a roll. no issues with leaks or with bending.
