yes, it was a plate with a nut welded underneath and the ball has a 1/2 drive so it is removable. I welded that 1/2 plate inbetween my bridge which is 1 1/2 .250 wall it also ties into my bag brackets

I have a bolt one 4 link with sleeves behind the rear end. It will lift more than it will haul...

It completely depends on the particular part that you use. AirRide Technology uses the part that I would suggest in their F-350 kits. It should support every bit of the rated capacity of your standard 1ton truck and still offer up a decent ride.

One question Max. You said that it wouldn't ride as well with a double covulted bag as it would a sleeve style bag. My question is what about those contitech triple stack bags. Useing them over the axle would seem to me like they would ride good since they hold more air.

A bigger bag will ride nicer... And that is where it gets tough to explain about volume vs. pressure. The sleeve style bag has leverage built in because of the fact that the lower piston slides inside of the bag. A giant convoluted bag will ride softer because there is more volume, so it stands to reason that you could simply add an expansion tank to soften the ride as well. So how do you decide which is the best option?
