Train horn trouble???

i got a cheap set off ebay. klein is the brand i think. the only problem i had was using too small of power/ground wiring. used like 10-12 gauge and it works fine. mine won't even come on after 150psi, so sometimes i have to let air out of the tank.

I wish they would make them illegal. These are the most annoying POS ever...

^^^^ that is why I own one. But about the legal side of it, I had a friend who is friends with a state trooper and he said as long as the horn doesn't cause an accident they are ok

i bought mine just to get the morons to pay attention. fucking california drivers never hang up the fucking phone and will sit at a green light for 5 minutes. one little honk with a train horn gets them going faster than my stock horn

^^^in california theres an acception to what you said its not illegal to have unless it is hooked up to your stock horn button if you have a seprate one then your legit...im a dealer for siege horns ive ran em up to 400psi with no problems besides bleeding from my ears once...check out siege-engineering.com see what you want and pm and ill get you a deal

Like mine so much, im doing a set on the wifes truck. Do you give a better deal then what seige sells them for on eBay?

THE FUNNIEST THING I DID AND I'LL PROBABLY GO TO HELL FOR IT WAS ABOUT 4 MONTHS AGO.I WAS TRAVELING DOWN A BUSY SIDE STREET GOING TO WORK AND THIS ASS HOLE WAS RIDING MY ASS HARD.WELL I BRAKED ON HIM AND HE COASTED A LITTLE CLOSER SO I LIFTED MY REAR SO HE COULDN'T SEE IN MY BED AND AS I APPROACHED THE TRAIN TRACKS THAT ARE ON THIS ROAD I SLOWED TO ABOUT 20 MPH AND I HIT THEM AS CLOSE TO THE WAY A TRAIN DOES AS I COULD. AFTER I ABOUT WRECKED LAUGHING I LOOK IN THE MIRROR TO SEE THIS GUY LOCKING UP HIS BRAKES.HE OUT OF REACTION THE GUY THREW HIS SODA AT THE DASH AND WENT TO SCRAMBLING.LIKE I SAID I'M GOING TO HELL FOR THAT BUT IT WAS DEFINATLEY FUNNY!!!

Yeah I've honked them as I passed over train tracks and watched everyone stop as if a train was coming. funny funny stuff they don't know what to do
