Train horn trouble???

I just got some train horns, I was just wondering what kind of trouble you all have gotten in with them...

i ran 180 thru my horns and cracked the diaphram but my buddy honks his at or around 400psi every once awhile

the first set i had i blew it at 180psi but the set i have now i run 200 though it and no problems and have had them for 2 years these are from horn blasters running 1/2 line through it works fine

I have Seiege Engeneering Hammer 3's, running 200psi, still thru their 1/4 valve, but i will change it for a extra 3/8 smc valve if it blows.

my friends valves once stuck open at a red light car next to him took off like it was a race

I do mine at 400 psi also and nothing wrong has happened yet.

yeah I did mine at 400 once on accident, and it was loud. No problems at all with a 1/2 smc feed for the air with 3/8 line. I usually run em at 200 psi though

oh and trouble wise, I've honked em passing a state trooper that was at a gas station cause I saw someone but not the trooper, and he jumped and just turned around and stared at me...its not illegal, unless you use em like I do to scare the sh*t outta people

^^^in california theres an acception to what you said its not illegal to have unless it is hooked up to your stock horn button if you have a seprate one then your legit...im a dealer for siege horns ive ran em up to 400psi with no problems besides bleeding from my ears once...check out siege-engineering.com see what you want and pm and ill get you a deal

Yeah, mine are on a toggle, but my horn on my steering wheel dont work I got Grand Master General Train Horns I think? They're badass and the loudest Ive heard and got em for 184.00. 3 chime but I took the shortest one on off. i got a 20" and a 15"
