I just picked up a 82 crew cab and i wanted to put my 22's on it does the older truck still need alot of fabrication to keep them from sticking out past the fenders?

The fronts you will be alright just have to do the inners and lose the a/c, now for the rears I don't know if a cab n chassis rear end will even work because they are so short in width, but it looks 10 times better after you widen them anyways just because of how big the truck is.

no only if your baggin it.. so dont go ripping it out just yet LOL.. and yea you will still need to narrow the reareand in one of the many ways to get the wheels under the fenders.

if your running a small enough tire it might still fit without hitting..

When mine was bagged we got it as low as possible without deleteing the a/c we were able to move it up on the fire wall about an inch and with 265/35/22 on the front my front crossmember sits on the ground when dumped the beauty is I still have a/c but that 265/40/22 up front is about 1" taller. That is the size tire I am running on the back.

Are you running trevors wheels or did you get your own milled? Also how much did you have to stretch your fenders?

No fender streching was done running stock fenders. As for my wheels I have had them about 5 years or more and they came from a guy in Florida who milled them. I dont remember his name. On the back wheels he did remove 3/8" off the face of both inside and outside wheels which helped make the whole width 3/4" narrower, but when the truck was bagged the rear end was narrowed and now runs moser axels. Hope this helps.
