line was nicked while working on something else and oil just shots outa the line...
plus the fittings on the radiator are cross threaded..so if line was fixed, it would leak anyway..
just another pain in the ass thing to hold us back..
just if u could just do away with oil cooler, make the lines go together or what?

You can probably just take the hoses out of the block/adapter and plug the fittings there. Does that have an adapter btw the block and oil filter, maybe you can just take the entire thing off.

I wouldn't just block off the holes, unless it has a bypass in it, Just make up a line to loop the 2 together so the oil still flows as if it was going through the cooler. If it is just an adapter where the filter goes you can just remove it and put the filter on like a normal block.

Oh you wouldn't would you.

when u take the adapter for the cooler off the filter has nothing to bolt to, no longer fits...
like it needs another adapter or something without the holes for the cooler..
i have no idea, lol

So it's a 350 and has the adapter that sandwiches between the filter and the block? Easy fix, but you have a little parts hunting to do.
You'll have to find another small block from a non-oil cooler application, and remove the filter adapter from it. It's smaller, fits up inside the block, be sure you grab the two shorter bolts that hold it in, too.

DO NOT, repeat, DO NOT simply cap off the lines.

Yes, but you could also probably score one from the boneyard or maybe even local machine shop for next to nothing instead of spending $30 + ship and waiting. And, you'd get the bolts too...
