so is z-ing the frame the only other way to get my ranger to lay out other then the yota clip?? tony how did your brother do it??

question?? Would it be better to find a 98+ ranger frame(non I beam) to put under an older ranger 93-97? or just build a yota clipped frame? which front clip would be the better choice if I was to want to start a frame from scratch and 2x3 box from the firewall back?

so when u guys are using a 95 yota clip on a 85 ranger are you jus keeping the wheel base the same? measurement wise? and whut all goes into installing the stock motor? do u need 2 fabricate some new motor mounts? if the whole truck was gonna be body dropped would it better 2 start a new frame after the frame clip is lined up if it was gonna be body dropped or keep the stock frame and do a traditional body drop ..thanks ..

I used the 98 up Ranger on mine, but if I had it to do all over again I would use the Yota clip, or a Mustang II.If you plan on using a wheel smaller than 22s, you could use a 98 up clip and raise the uppers a couple inches and setting the engine up is just a matter of finding the right mounts. Look to see if theres a pull-a-part close, you can get Yota clips for 115 bucks.

I have 1 94 yota 1 91 yota and a 87 yota. all were bought for parts if anybody needs clips I will sell all three trucks cheap. But located in Oxford Ms.
