I was planning on bagging my 89 GMC r30 this summer but other projects and schedule conflicts have been pushing it back. I have 3" WC spindles up front so good there. My question is I appear to have the Dana 80 ( according to my SPID) with a rear sway bar and my lower spring pack plates appear to be cast instead of stamped. Will the WC flip kit work for the Dana and is it worth the $100 or should I try to come up with something on my own.

and for the pic whores I'll throw in a pic of what is taking precedence over the dually.

Thanks J,
I was actually doing a ton of work with the search feature on site and found a ton of posts where you blasted guys for buying the kits instead of self fabricating. I was a little timid to see you response. Right now I have the skills to make one but my 8 mo old daughter and other vehicles leave me with little time. Thanks again for the heads up on the notch in the plates and cool pic. It is nice to know up front rather than have to assemble/disassemble a bunch.
