looking for some good shops in GA that can do nice body work and simple and clean paint designs. not really that willing to go out of state. that has kinda screwed me over in the past so I'd like my truck where I can take a saturday drive and look at it and make sure things are actually getting done.
i'm not looking for a shop that charges $10000 for a simple 2 color job and not a maaco either. just quality work at a decent price. i know these shops exist, just need YOUR help finding them.

What are you looking to spend and what kind of bodywork and paint design are you looking for? I work at Tom Jumper Chevrolet Bodyshop. I also have a friend that owns a bodyshop in Rockmart I could hook you up with. He has done most of Mike from Endless's bodywork.

I had talked to Mike about a 6 weeks ago and he said that his paint guy had raised his prices because he went in with another partner who didn't want to give mike the hook up anymore.
i'm looking to shave everything off my truck (handles, body molding, taillights, antenna, etc.) install poppers, mold in some leds then repaint the truck (underhood, door jambs, bed, in between the bed and cab, etc.) with a simple 2 or 3 color design i've laid out. I've been told that this shouldn't cost anymore than 5k, so you could say that's my limit.
i've gotten prices from some shops already and they've ranged from $3k-10K. I think the higher priced shops see my truck and think that I have money so just charge me out the ass for it, when i'm really just a broke ass college student saves every penny i can get for my truck and thats why its taken me 5 years to get it where its at now

Yeah I know Joe has a partner now but I also know he has been slow. I would be willing to bet he would take that on for 5k. The bodywork part of it isn't bad, it's the paintwork and the materials for it that run the price up so much. Do you have Mikes# to get in touch with him?

my truck is being painted my jason heider, he works at a shop called normans in columbus, GA, they do mostly resto work, but will do anything! (706) 561-0111 is their # if you wanna get a price...

Moonshine customs right out side of athens. They do damn good work at a reasonable price. They did a s-10 that just got featured for minitruckin mag.

how strait is the body? what kind of design are you wanting to do? we use dupont chromapremier paint and can mix any color you want or use hot hues or HOK. we are very reasonable with pricing depending on what you want done. we havnt done any bagged trucks or anything.

the body is straight it has about 4 dime sized dents in different places, but nothing serious.
a simple 2-tone with a pinstripe is all i'm looking to do, nothing fancy. paint choices aren't a huge deal to me, just a true blue and silver, no candies or pearls that would really require any HOK or high priced materials.
