alpine 3542 amp...?s

my toyota had an alpine 3542 amp in it when i got it. wasnt hooked up. 2 channel. heard it can be 160w x1 at 4 ohm. 10hz-20khz. looks in good shape. havent tested it. any tips or experiance with these? i plan to push one sub with it. just a 10. in a single cab. thanks people. i know how to hook it up, but if you have things to know that would help do tell. thanks.

also, where are good and bad spots to mount it. and how should i hook the power up, like for on off purposes...it has a remote thingy on by the "battery" and "ground" terminals.
