what size stainless steel tubing is needed for airlines

what size stainless steel tubing would i want to run on my chevy c-10, would 1/2 od be alright?please help.

you can go 3/8 and it will be fine.... and a lot cheaper on the fittings ect

i believe the plastic d.o.t. tubing is measures by the o.d. so if u want the same size just figure out how thick the walls on the tubing is and order your stainless with the same i.d.

Stainless tubing is measured O.D. also. 3/8 or 1/2.
