a few mazda questions!!

1. my truck idles at 3000 warms up then goes to 2000. whats the deal?2. I put my webber 38dgas on and it also idles at 2000? want to buy it or help3. the check engine light came on? how can i fix it?4. the water temp gauge doesnt work how or what do i need to change? i use a mechanical right now til i can fix the issue

Any help or answers will greatly be appreciated.

1. Adjust the idle position screw on the side of the carb or the timing.
2. once again adjust the idle position screw or timing
3. you put a weber on it what do you expect you took off half the emissions bullshit
4. check the temp sending unit on the side of your radiator above the lower hose I believe.

thats for emmissions,when the engine gets up to operating temp that turns on all the emission stuff.the sensor is on the thermostat housing
